Sow 4 Korean leaf lettuce seeds in each hole. Plant seeds at a depth of about 7～8mm (0.3 inches) by pressing them in with your finger.
Lightly cover the seeds with soil, press down with your hand, and then put on a non-woven fabric (to protect the seeds). Fix the non-woven fabric with garden pins.
Korean red leaf lettuce seed is “light-favoured seed (photoblastic seed)", so cover the seeds lightly with soil. Use non-woven fabric to protect the seeds before they sprout.
By placing a non-woven fabric, you can prevent the seeds from drying out, and it also shields them from direct contact with watering or rainwater, protecting the seeds.
After covering with non-woven fabric, water the soil to the point of moisture. (Be careful not to overwater, as it can cause the seeds to rot.) With this, the Korean red leaf lettuce seeding is complete.
