For securing the plastic, I use U-shaped garden pins. I tie knots at both ends of the plastic, place garden pins through the knots, and stick them into the bed.
How to set up stakes for sugar snap peas (Building a vegetable garden)
From here, I will explain the actual way to set up stakes. For setting up stakes in the sugar snap pea bed, we use ones with a diameter of 1.6cm (0.63 inches) and a length of 150cm (4.9 feet). We set up stakes at the 4 corners of the bed, so we prepare 4.
To set up the stakes, first, push the stakes into the ground by hands. It’s okay if the stake goes into the ground about 25cm (10 in) deep. If the soil is too compact and the stake doesn’t go in easily, just push it in as far as it will go for now.
Then, use a hammer to drive it in another 10cm (4 in). Be careful not to drive it in too far, as it might become difficult to remove.
I’ll set up the remaining 3 stakes in the same way to align the height.

After setting up the stakes, we wrap hemp twine around them to support the snap peas. The wrapping method involves winding the twine around the stakes twice,
After that, wrap the end of the twine around the stretched side of the twine three times.
Finally, thread the end of the twine through the base loop and tighten it towards the stake.
This way of tying the twine is apparently called a clinch knot. (I’m sorry if I got it wrong.)
I’ll tie hemp twine to the remaining three stakes as well.
Pass the twine to create a cross.
Lastly, fertilize with chicken manure, and the installation of sugar snap pea stakes is complete.
The amount of fertilizer is about 5 to 6 chicken manure pellets per hole in the mulch. Fertilize away from the base of the snap pea plants, then press down from above to blend it into the soil.
