Cherry tomatoes growing guide (Pick cherry tomatoes and cultivation completed)
Growing cherry tomatoes in organic farming. This time, I would like to harvest the cherry tomatoes.
I started cultivating cherry tomatoes around the end of March. I prepared the soil for cherry tomatoes around the end of March and planted seedlings in late April.
I removed the suckers of cherry tomatoes in mid May and set up the double stakes for support at the late May.
I applied additional fertilizer to the cherry tomatoes in mid June.
Harvest cherry tomatoes in the order of ripeness, starting with the ones that have turned red. (Harvesting criteria of cherry tomatoes: fully red all over and stems curled.)
Harvesting has just begun, but cultivation process for cherry tomatoes is complete.
It seems that the cherry tomato plant has been affected by a disease transmitted by aphids, causing their growth to halt. Visible symptoms include occurrences like “flowers dropping without setting fruit" or “leaves at the growing tips becoming distorted and not growing properly."
Once all the fruits are harvested, the cherry tomatoes cultivation is complete.
Following is the video for how-to. English subtitles are available.
